Four-diode bridge rectifier converting AC to pulsating DC. The simulation shows how both halves of the AC cycle are rectified, doubling the effective frequency. A load resistor demonstrates the output voltage. Add a filter capacitor to smooth the output for a basic DC power supply. Foundation of nearly every AC-to-DC power converter.
