Inverting amplifier using an ideal op-amp with gain of -3 (Rf/Ri = 3k/1k). The output is an inverted and amplified version of the input signal. The simulation shows both input and output waveforms. Virtual ground at the inverting input is a key concept. This topology is the foundation of analog signal processing — audio amplifiers, active filters, and instrumentation.
